The 125th anniversary of the Virden Alumni Association will be held at the KC Hall in Virden with a banquet and a dance. For more information see the Alumni Page.

Summer School

Virden High School will offer summer school. Math will be offered from Monday, June 2 through Thursday, June 12 from noon until 4 pm. English will be offered Monday, June 2 through Thursday, June 12 from 7:45 am to 11:45 am. If a student has failed at least one semester of math or English, this is an opportunity to make up the credits. In order to meet the state requirements, students must be in attendance every day. The cost for each 1/2 credit is $120 for Virden students and $150 for out-of-district students. Please call the high school office to register as soon as possible as there is a minimum number of students required to offer each class. Fees are due to the high school office by May 23rd. Contact Mrs. Hampton at 217-965-4127 if there are questions regarding high school graduation requirements or credits your student has earned.

Virden Community Unit School District #4 is launching PaC Family Access which allows parents to view grades, discipline, lunch accounts and attendance information. It is available through the red school house in the upper left corner of the web page. Teacher email information is also  available.
