Virden and Girard combine for preparations of consolidation

In preparation for the Virden-Girard consolidation, Virden Band director, Steve McGartland and Girard Band director, Keith Fatheree have decided to combine both bands for the Carlinville Halloween Parade. The idea was thought of in hopes of an early start to the consolidation. To kick off the ‘’group work’’, Girard’s marching band performed in Virden’s Homecoming parade with Virden taking part in theirs as well.
