What happens if homework is not turned in on time? Students will get a lunch detention (yellow slip). They will eat lunch in a room while working on homework they did not turn in. They will earn only 60% credit for this work.

When is the best time to call to talk to one or all of the teachers?

The best time to contact the teachers is as follows:

7th grade teachers-between 1:25 and 2:13

8th grade teachers-between 2:15 and 3:04

or any staff member between 3:04 and 3:40.

What is a green detention? A green detention is a behavior detention. It can be given for talking repeatedly in class, disrespect, hitting other students, etc. It is served after school the day after the green detention is given. (Detention is held Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday after school)
When is accelerated reader information due? Students must read accelerated reader books for each nine weeks and they must take an AR test on that book. The test results will count towards their grade.
How do I pay money on a lunch card? Students may bring money to school and hand it in as they go through the lunch line. They may pay on their account any day of the week.
What if we have no idea what we are doing for the science fair? Contact the science teacher!
What if I know in advance my child will be absent from school? Students may get work in advance if they know they will be absent (please send a note to school with the child!). If they get the work in advance, it is to be completed and turned in on the day they return to school.
What supplies do I need for school? All students need paper and pencils. They may also need colored pencils, scissors, glue, and a ruler. These tools are used quite a bit for different projects.
